EDGE AI

Edge AI brings intelligence directly to device. This approach enables on-device data processing, which can significantly reduce bandwidth usage, as the amount of data that needs to be transmitted decreases. After processing, only relevant data is sent to the cloud, unlike Cloud AI which sends large volumes of raw, potentially irrelevant data to cloud for processing. AI processing occurs on each connected device using a pretrained AI model, after which only inference results are sent. Besides reduced bandwidth, Edge AI delivers reduced latency, enhanced privacy and security, and improved power efficiency to device.
