Methods2Business Demonstrates Wi-Fi HaLow Excellence at WBA Phase Two Field Trials

Between September 11–22, 2023, Methods2Business proudly participated in the Wireless Broadband Alliance’s (WBA) Wi-Fi HaLow™ Field Trials as one of key technology partners. This initiative brought together leading technology providers, operators, and ecosystem partners to evaluate the performance of IEEE 802.11ah — Wi-Fi HaLow — in diverse, real-life IoT environments.

The trials focused on a wide range of use cases, including smart:

• Home

• Warehousing

• Farm

• City

• Office Building

• School Campus

Each scenario was designed to explore the capabilities of Wi-Fi HaLow in challenging conditions — from dense urban areas and large industrial sites to agricultural and educational settings. The goal was to validate the technology’s potential for long-range, low-power, and secure IoT connectivity in environments where traditional Wi-Fi often struggles.

Trial results reinforce Wi-Fi HaLow’s potential to transform IoT connectivity — and we’re proud to be at the forefront of that transformation.
